Brief: Absentee Ballots due October 26

This November, students get to chance to vote for this year, but if you aren’t from Blacksburg then you have to complete an absentee ballot by 2 P.M. on Friday October 26, 2007.
Absentee Ballots are required if students are 18 years or older, have registered to vote, and have to vote elsewhere than their designated polling station, as designated on their registration.
Normally, these ballots are mailed, but the Student Government Association, SGA, has made them available to the campus.
Ballots are free of charge and can be picked up and must be submitted to the SGA office in Squires 321.
Also, the ballot can be downloaded from the SGA website at www.sga.vt.edu, but must be returned to the SGA office.
For questions, visit the SGA office or contact Emily Webb at evwebb1@vt.edu or Mike O’Brien at obrienmp@vt.edu.

The next U.S. presidential election is in 2008, not this year.
