The Norris Hall Task Force sent their final recommendation to University President Charles Steger on Friday.
A spokesperson for Steger’s office confirmed receipt of the document, which details the task force’s decision on how to use the 4,500 square foot space in Norris Hall under review.
A final decision from Steger is expected next week, the spokesperson said. Steger will meet with the task force on Monday before making his decision, according to Bethany Flora, coordinator for special projects in the Office of the Provost.
“The last step of the process is President Steger reviewing it, reading it and reviewing it, asking questions, pondering it, mulling it, making his decision,” said Mark Owczarski, director of news and information for University Relations.
The final two possible plans, the Institute for Transformative Learning and Re-Creating a Student-Centered Community, were released on November 15.
