What an exciting week of reality TV! The boys outshined the girls in American Idol, Bret Michaels kicked out the older women, Kimberly walked out on Tyra Banks and Chris March lost his chance to progress to the Project Runway Finale.
The men of American Idol really made the women sound amateur. David Hernandez and David Archuleta stole the show with their amazing voice ranges.
Thankfully, Jason Yeager is no longer in the American Idol competition. In addition, Alexandrea Lushington, Alaina Whitaker and Robbie Carrico were sent home.
The girls of Rock of Love 2 tried for time with Bret Michaels in a horse-riding/pig-catching competition. After a date with the winners at a restaurant that serves in complete darkness, Bret gave Kristy Joe the most quality time.
Bret may have given fans the impression that he is not interested in women his own age when he sent home 38-year-old Peyton Turner and 45-year-old Catherine Brown.
America’s Next Top Model took an interesting turn when contestant Kimberly announced that she wanted to leave the competition. Tyra expressed her disapproval for Kimberly coming to the contest in the first place, since so many girls would have loved to have had her spot. Viewers are probably frustrated with Kimberly as well.
Even with Kimberly gone, Tyra still sent someone home. Atalya was the first to be eliminated.
On Project Runway, Rami and Chris went head-to-head for a chance to show at fashion week. Though both showcased three outfits from their fierce collections, Chris was sent home.
What can we expect next week in reality TV?
In American Idol, viewers can expect to lose rocker Amanda Overmyer and Danny Norriega. Both have performed negatively in the past two weeks. Catch it Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 8 p.m. EST.
Kristy Joe will surely cause even more drama with the girls on Rock of Love 2. It all goes down Sunday at 9 p.m. EST.
America’s Next Top Model will either make or break contestant Amis. She performed poorly last week; however, she may learn to use her interesting face to her advantage. To see the outcome, watch it Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST.
The final show of Project Runway will be intense. Rami, Jillian and Christian all have unique talents. If I had to pick a winner, it would be Jillian. Tune in Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST to see if I am right.
