Just in Case You Missed it...90210

Episode 6:  "Model Behavior" aired Sept. 30, 2008 at 8pm on the CW

Kelly, Brenda, Ryan and Principal Harry grill Adrianna and her mom about Adrianna's alleged drug use which she emphatically denies.   Harry threatens expulsion if they confirm she is taking drugs and "mommy dearest" threatens to sue. 

In the midst of their discussion after Adrianna leaves, Dylan McCay calls Brenda and then talks to Kelly.  Ryan finds out that Dylan is Sammy's father.  Dylan is back in the states in Wyoming and wants Kelly and Sammy to join him.  Kelly is torn but Ryan makes a romantic pitch for himself, saying, "Are you asking me to wait?  Cuz I got nothin' but time and the distinct feeling that women like you don't come around very often."  But Kelly doesn't want him to wait!  Poor Ryan.  As Ryan exits, he asks, "If Dylan wanted to talk to you, why was he calling Brenda?"  Ouch!!!  Kelly is suitably speechless.

Debbie is given the chance to shoot a fashion show for Nylon Magazine.  Annie decides to use the fashion show as part of her class assignment on careers. Ryan asks Annie to partner with Adrianna on the assignment, and Annie reluctantly agrees, even though she is still upset with Adrianna over what happened at the play's after-party at the Roosevelt.

Naomi has dinner with her dad and the loveshack mistress and lets it "slip" that her parents are still sleeping together.  She decides that the fashion show is the perfect place to bring her parents back together, but her plan backfires when her parents have a huge fight and dad proclaims their marriage is over for good.

Silver catches the attention of Debbie's client at the fashion show. He tries to put the moves on her and Dixon rushes to the rescue.  The client makes a racial remark when he learns that Dixon is Debbie's son; Dixon decks him; the client fires Nylon; Debbie manages to keep her job.  

Also at the show, when an indie film producer remembers seeing Annie in "Spring Awakening" and offers her an audition, Annie convinces her to include Adrianna. Feeling guilty after Annie's nice gesture, Adrianna admits that she lied about Ty needing to "shower off" after their tryst.  Annie explodes. Ty shows up at the fashion show and he and Annie decide just to be friends.

Kelly confronts Brenda as to why Dylan called her, accusing her of "leaving the door open" for her and Dylan to get back together. Brenda denies it but cries as she erases his contact info from her cell phone (he's number 4 on the speed dial!!  Hmm...the plot thickens).

Brenda and Ryan go to the fashion show together and Brenda reassures Ryan that he has "dodged a tremendous bullet" by not dating Kelly.  Ryan offers Brenda a ride home...could get interesting because they are both really ticked at Kelly.

Ethan doesn't know if he's still in love with Naomi and they mutually decide to call it quits.

Kelly decides to take Sammy to see Dylan for two weeks while Silver holds down the fort.

Adrianna buys some "big league" drugs.  Drug mystery officially solved!  How long will it take Principal Harry to crack the case?

No tears or sex, real or imagined, this week.  We can only hope the writers will get their act together next week.
