Baseball Downs Dukes On The Road

Coming off
of a tough series with NC State, the Hokies traveled up I-81 yesterday to take on
the James Madison Dukes on a beautiful and sunny afternoon. The baseball team got
a much needed confidence boost, with a 4-0 shutout win, bringing its overall
record to 16-10.
Anthony
Sosnoskie, C, led the offense with two hits and two RBIs. Steve Domecus, LF, and
Michael Seaborn, 2B, both had one hit and one RBI. The Hokies used five pitchers
throughout the game, with the win going to Clark Labitan, who is now 4-1 on the
season.
Next on the
schedule are the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (13-10), who play UNC-Greensboro
today. The series with Tech kicks off at home for the Hokies, Friday, April 3
at 5:30 p.m., and continues with games over the weekend on both Saturday and
Sunday at 1 p.m..
Fan
