Virginia Tech men’s basketball coach Seth Greenberg is not going anywhere – at least not for a while.
Last week, Greenebrg signed a new six-year contract with Virginia Tech. This year Greenberg led the team to 25 wins. That’s a school record for the most wins in one season. Greenberg has coached the Hokies for seven years and his overall record is 132-94.
Just before he agreed to the new deal, Greenberg turned down an offer to coach the St. John’s Red Storm in New York.
Greenberg led the Hokies to post season play in five of his seven seasons. This season the team reached the quarterfinals of the National Invitational Tournament.
